class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39c04f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"39c04f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Comprehensive Clinical Care <\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Must have a coordinated ataxia clinical care team to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary ataxia care that includes:\u00a0<\/li><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul type=\"circle\"><li><u>at least two<\/u><b>\u00a0<\/b>neurologists with specialized training\/experience in ataxia\/movement disorder<p><b>OR<\/b>\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><p>at least .5 FTE combined dedicated clinical time to ataxia between neurologist and Advanced Practice Practitioners\u00a0<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Offer Referral Services, such as, but not limited to:<ul><li>Genetic Counseling and Testing<\/li><li>Urology<\/li><li>Cardiology<\/li><li>Ophthalmology<\/li><li>Psychiatry\/Psychology<\/li><li>Family Planning &amp; Reproductive Health<\/li><li>Trained Rehabilitation Specialists (e.g., Physical and Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology)<\/li><li>Social Services<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Provide clinical care for at least 30 ataxia patients annually and patients must span a variety of ataxia types.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Professional Training and Research<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Provide clinical education and training to health care professionals (e.g., fellows, nurses, PTs, social workers) through formal rotations and\/or fellowships.<\/li><li>Must have a designated clinical coordinator who dedicates some time to ataxia and demonstrate active engagement in ataxia clinical trials and\/or research studies.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Community Education and Outreach<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Engage in community-based educational or outreach events for individuals with ataxia, care partners and families (e.g., participate in fundraisers, patient meetings, support groups).<\/li><li>Promote patient engagement in clinical research studies and clinical trials.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b3a3dc elementor-widget
